are looking for a Middle Market Underwriting Specialist in San
Francisco Your Team From manufacturing and hospitality to
commercial real estate and professional services, our Middle Market
Team offers flexible insurance solutions for small and medium-sized
enterprises in a wide range of industries, including General
Liability, Property, Auto, Workers' Compensation, Umbrella/Excess,
Inland Marine, and International product solutions. The Impact You

Allianz Commercial. In this role as an Underwriting Specialist,
you'll help build a multi-coverage book of business while working
closely with agents and brokers through frequent contact points
(both in-person and virtually), be the face of Allianz Commercial
Middle Market for the local territory, listen and be an educator to
the marketplace, assess risks, determine premiums, set conditions
and negotiate in order to ensure profitability. We encourage you to

- Experienced in underwriting profitable new and renewal Middle
Market Multiline business (minimum of 5 years of experience).

to determine risk selection, premiums, and terms and
conditions;
- A Strategic Portfolio Manager: you'll ensure a profitable book
of Property and Casualty insurance by writing new accounts with
varying premiums and complexity, while successfully growing agent
and broker relationships;
- A Conscientious Professional: Understanding that the deal isn't
done until the paperwork is signed, you'll document and compile
comprehensive account reviews, obtain state-compliant signoffs and
referrals, letters of authority and underwriting guidelines;
and
- A Clear Communicator: You'll maintain and nurture successful
relationships with agents and brokers, while presenting proposals,
negotiating deals and obtaining approvals. The annualized base pay
range for this role is $111,970 - $191,948. The annual base salary
range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for
this position may be above and will be determined by a number of
factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role;
the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the
candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total
compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and
highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for
