Description: 1-2 years of current experience is REQUIRED

• Reviewing problem accounts and resolving issues to facilitate the fastest and most accurate billing and reimbursement.
• Documenting all activities thoroughly, accurately on each account in our practice management system.
• Provide immediate feedback to Lead and Manager regarding errors and issues causing delays in reimbursement that originated in billing.
• Documenting delinquent activity and recommendation for collections/write off activity to General Manager.
• Look over medical records and submit.
• Look up insurance overpay, refund payments.
• Reviewing accounts, verify different codes when submitting claims, find out about claim.Must-Haves:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Knows PPOs, HMOs, Medicare, Medi-Cal, Self Pay after Insurance Payments.
  • Must know HCFA and CMS15
  • Billing
