Job Description:
Loral Landscaping, Inc. is a family run landscape management
company that has been servicing the San Francisco Bay Area since
1976. Our services include commercial maintenance, irrigation
management, and landscape construction.
Role and Responsibilities - Administrative Assistant
The administrative assistant collaborates with the rest of our
office staff to deliver excellent customer service by managing
customer service requests and proposals. Our ideal candidate has
3-5 years of experience working in an office setting and knowledge
of the landscape industry. The ideal fit is self-motivated, enjoys
interacting with customers, and is always looking for ways to
improve administrative procedures.Responsibilities and Duties
--- Provide excellent customer service by proactively communicating
with clients regarding work orders, proposals, and construction
timelines--- Process incoming work orders from property management
associations and work with supervisors to dispatch and complete
work orders on time--- Answer phone calls from current and
prospective clients regarding their proposals and service needs---
Create landscape and tree proposals, working with project managers
to deliver to clients on time--- Coordinate plant and material
orders for approved jobs--- Work with project managers and
supervisors to ensure all required materials are accounted for and
replacements are quickly ordered if needed--- Assist with financial
and accounting tasks including posting bills, generating invoices,
and making online payments--- Process and edit irrigation and extra
work invoices made by supervisors and transfer into QuickBooks
accounting--- Assist with entering employee timecards and
processing payroll--- Miscellaneous office tasks as
neededEducation/ Experience
--- 2+ years of administrative assistant experience--- Strong oral
and written communication skills and the ability to work in a
semi-open office setting--- Demonstrated high level of organization
to apply to administrative tasks--- Ability to manage time
sensitive projects while multi-tasking daily duties and requests---
Knowledge of Microsoft Office365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint)--- A positive, can-do attitude--- Able to lift 25
lbs.Preferred Qualifications
--- Experience working with QuickBooks Accounting software---
Knowledge of QuickBase Database system or similar programs (Excel,
Sheets)--- Plant/ tree identification of common Bay Area
speciesHiring Details:
--- Hours: 7:30am - 4pm Monday through Friday--- Location: In
person at our San Mateo office--- Desired start date May 2022,
exact date to be determinedCompensation:
--- $20-$24 hourly rate, commensurate with experience. Paid
bi-weekly.--- Benefits include paid holidays, sick leave, and
personal leave
