Description We currently have a long-term contract / temporary opening for an intelligent, highly skilled Receptionist in a growing non-profit. This dynamic and creative non-profit offers a stimulating work environment with fulfilling challenges and is based in the San Mateo, California region. Are you a dedicated professional who can take on more than one assignment at a time? Then this Receptionist position is the opportunity for you. This position requires a candidate available to work on Saturday(s) and Sunday(s). From 11:30pm - 7:30am. How you will make an impact- Employ strong prioritization skills and a sense of urgency- Answering all incoming phone calls- Create a welcoming environment for visitors- Maintain various office files and provide general office filing support- Be an asset to other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry and Internet research tasks- Receive, review, and distribute incoming mail according to specified procedures- Manage various office files and provide general office filing support- Place orders for office and kitchen supplies Requirements - Solid understanding of Inbound Telephone Calls- Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks- Be detailed, flexible, and organized- Optimistic, perceptive, resourceful, solution-oriented, and tech-savvy- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing- Customer service and office administrative skills- 1 or more years of experience handling multi-line phone systemsThis position is available only through Robert Half.
