Dental Front & Back Office Coordinator San Mateo, CA 94401 $25 - $30 hour (DOE/E) A well-established boutique dental office located in San Mateo is seeking a full time Office Coordinator to join the team to support both front and back office efforts. The ideal candidate brings superior customer service, polished communication and the ability to pivot quickly to provide general administrative and office support to our dentistry team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support front and back office tasks as needed. Answer and route calls; take messages. Greet patients and other visitors. Schedule appointments accurately. Verify all insurance information and eligibility prior to patient appointments. Research and communicate claim status. Insurance verification and all billing inquiries. Chart and document patient charts. Patient room inventory and maintenance. Room sterilization and turn-over. Patient x-rays and various patient support tasks. Assist office lead on accounts receivables in an accurate and timely manner. Assist office lead on late payments and overdue accounts. Assist office lead on maintaing practice's digital footprint; website and social media presence. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Exceptional customer service skills. Working knowledge of Dentrix (preferred). Must be able to multitask in a busy office environment. Organized self-starter and motivated problem solver. Highly organized and energetic team player. Clear and effective communication skills (both written and verbal). Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. X-ray certification (preferred). EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or Associates (preferred) 1+ years of applicable dental or medical office experience including coding (preferred).
