Assistant Property Manager Oakland, CA Pay: $26/hour Type: Temp to Possible Hire A well-established property management firm in Oakland is seeking an organized and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with tenants, and is ready to grow within the property management field. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries and communications Support lease administration, including renewals, notices, and document preparation Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely follow-up with vendors and residents Assist with rent collection, payment posting, and delinquencies tracking Maintain accurate property records, reports, and daily administrative tasks Provide general onsite support to the Property Manager to ensure smooth operations Qualifications: Previous experience in property management or a related administrative role preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organization in a busy environment Proficiency in MS Office and general office software HUD experience and Tax Credit housing knowledge are highly preferred Strong attention to detail and professionalism Why This Role: Great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in property management Supportive team environment with long-term growth potential Temp-to-possible-hire pathway for high performers Pay Details: $25.00 to $26.00 per hour Search managed by: Joyce Reyes Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
