Social Media Strategist

With our success across the globe, we are now set on building a premium US growth marketing team to focus on the US market. This is a chance to build and promote a next-gen learning product with the backing of a multinational corporation and strong capital support while maintaining the innovative culture of a Bay Area startup.

As Social Media Strategist - founding members of our US Growth Marketing team,

You Will

• Design our social media strategies to achieve content marketing and growth goals
• Manage and publish content and execute social media campaigns for all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.)
• Effectively communicate our values through engaging content, monitor and respond to user questions, comments, and messages across multiple social media channels
• Support on influencer campaigns where required. Manage influencer and creative agencies and/or freelancers to grow our digital presence, analyze performances and identify growth opportunities
• Work closely with internal teams to develop social media calendar and amplify regional campaigns
• Stay on top of content trends and experiment with new ways to deepen audience engagement with our brand and products
• Always put our Learners first. Strategize and coordinate cross-functionally to define project scopes and deliver work that meets LingoAce's quality standards

  Requirements
  
  • Elementary proficiency with Mandarin
  • A proven track record to create and implement social media strategies accounting for ambiguity, dependencies, and technical complexity in an agile environment
  • Passion and strong familiarity with social platforms, with awareness for emerging and opportunity platforms
  • Solid interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for engaging with our social media communities
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams and contributing your own ideation to bring strategies to life
  • Excellent visual, verbal, and writing skills
  • Knowledge and interest in video production, content marketing platforms, SEO, and more
  • Bachelor's degree or higher and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • (Bonus) EdTech marketing and/or product experience
  • (Bonus) Previous experience within a high-growth startup helping build out marketing program and campaigns
  • (Bonus) Knowledge and/or interests of bilingual / multilingual communities
