Position SummaryVeev is looking for an exceptional and dedicated Senior Project Engineer to assist with the scheduling, planning, building, and managing of our innovative single-family homes, multifamily buildings, and accessory dwelling units. They will be responsible for managing the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects to ensure project accuracy and quality are met.A master multi-tasker, collaborative team player, and experience working with multiple disciplines between projects is a must!
Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with quantity take-offs, bidding, and estimating
• Assist in Contract Creation
• Assist with Subcontractor/Vendor Coordination
• Assist Project Superintendents with record-keeping and office work
• Responsible for Submittals and coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants
• Responsible for RFIs and maintaining up-to-date plans
• Assist and/or lead project scheduling and weekly updates
• Implement company safety protocols
• Assist with cost control and change order management
• Assist and/or lead project meetings.
• Assist with Project close-out
• Provide Misc. Back Office Support for Projects as needed
• Support Procurement Manager as needed
• Support Project Managers as needed
• Effective Liaison between office and field
• Special QC projects as needed
  Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction science (construction management), architectural or similar relevant field
  • 4+ years experience in construction
  • Critical-thinker and problem-solver
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effective time-management skills
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with Autodesk preferred
  • Experience with Smartsheets preferred
  • Self-Starter, Ambitious
  • Strong Desire to grow professionally and learn every day
  • Passion for being at the forefront of an evolving construction industry
