Full-Time, Exempt Location: Moriarty, NM Who Are We: Sceye a

platform systems (LTA HAPS) are capable of maintaining position
over an operational area in the stratosphere (altitudes of 18 –
21km). They can carry multiple telecommunications, imaging and
remote sensing payloads, providing unique functionality, cost,
environmental and societal advantages. Our HAPS be deployed in a
matter of days and at a fraction of the cost of traditional
infrastructure solutions. This makes them an ideal solution for
providing telecommunications connectivity, emergency solutions in
the event of natural or other disasters, environmental and
infrastructure monitoring, Earth observation and a range of defense

unwavering commitment to excellence. Position Summary: We are
seeking a Power Systems Lead to drive the architecture,
development, and performance of electrical power systems across our
high-impact platforms and infrastructure. In this role, you will
provide technical and strategic leadership, guiding
cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient,
and high-reliability power solutions in a complex, mission-critical
environment. What You’ll Do: Lead the design, modeling, and
optimization of low and high-voltage power systems across platforms
Define system architecture and drive key decisions regarding
component selection, topology, and integration Develop and review
detailed wiring diagrams, power budgets, load analyses, and safety
protocols Oversee power systems validation through simulation,
prototyping, and test campaigns Ensure compliance with relevant
standards (NEC, IEEE, MIL-STD, etc.) and internal quality
benchmarks Serve as the technical authority and primary point of
contact for cross-functional collaboration with electrical,
mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams Guide root
cause analyses and resolution of power system issues during
manufacturing, test, and field operations Stay ahead of emerging
technologies in energy storage, power conversion, and distribution,
and lead continuous improvement initiatives Mentor and develop
junior engineers, fostering a high-performance, innovation-focused
culture What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
7 years of experience in power system design and leadership
(preferably within aerospace, automotive, defense, or renewable
energy) Deep knowledge of power electronics, energy storage, power
protection, and grounding strategies Proficiency in electrical
simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, SPICE) and system
modeling Demonstrated experience in high-reliability systems and
regulatory compliance Excellent communication and leadership
skills, with the ability to influence across disciplines and levels
Nice to Have: Experience in high-altitude or off-grid power systems
Expertise in PCB design and hardware-software integration
Familiarity with embedded systems, firmware control, and power
regulation algorithms Track record of leading design reviews,
