Job Description Job Description Maintenance Manager Maintenance Manager Position Overview The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of production equipment in a food processing facility. This role aims to ensure optimal operation of machinery and adherence to safety standards while minimizing downtime in the production process. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure efficient operation of all production machinery. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with safety standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in production equipment, including hydraulics and pneumatics. Oversee the repair and servicing of machinery, ensuring quick turnaround times to minimize production losses. Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring necessary materials are on hand. Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and data is recorded for future analysis and reporting. Train staff on proper use of PPE and safety protocols related to maintenance activities. Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field 2 years of experience in maintenance management within a food production or processing environment Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving in a manufacturing setting Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision - 401(k) Matching - PTO - Tuition reimbursement - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
