Job Description:
Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California
building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with
a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We

aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal

celebrates all of our team members. The Lab Coordinator plays a
critical role in executing builds within our Production Realization
Lab. You’ll own process planning, coordinate procurement, and
develop clear, structured SAP work instructions to keep programs
moving with speed and precision. This role sits at the center of
engineering, supply chain, quality, project management, and shop
operations—ensuring high-visibility builds progress efficiently and
accurately. We’re looking for someone highly organized with
hands-on familiarity in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional settings. What You’ll
Do: Support process planning activities for prototype and
development builds Author and maintain SAP work instructions,
routings, and build documentation Coordinate procurement of
materials, components, tooling, and consumables Partner with Supply
Chain to manage availability, lead times, and shortages Align with
Project Management on schedules, priorities, and execution plans
Collaborate with Quality to ensure processes and documentation meet
required standards Proactively identify workflow gaps and drive
process improvements Track and communicate build status, material
readiness, and execution risks Maintain accurate, audit-ready
records and system data What You Need: Associate’s or Bachelor’s
Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Operations, or
related field (or equivalent practical experience) Experience in a
machine shop or manufacturing environment Background in process
planning, build coordination, or production support Experience
creating work instructions, travelers, or routings SAP experience
preferred (or similar ERP/MRP systems) Understanding of
manufacturing workflows and documentation controls Highly organized
with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Clear,
confident cross-functional communication skills Exceptional
attention to detail and data accuracy Proficiency with Google Suite
or equivalent productivity tools Bonus Qualifications: Experience
supporting prototype, R&D, or low-volume manufacturing
environments Familiarity with machining, fabrication, or assembly
processes Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and
specifications Continuous improvement mindset with bias for action
Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving development environments

pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports
the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting
a base pay between $104,000 - $157,000. Actual compensation offered
will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge,
