What You'll DoAs a VP of Growth and Brand Marketing, you will:

  • Drive strategy and execution for Devsisters' portfolio of brands and oversee growth, data, strategy and communications
  • Elevate Devsisters' marketing activities to the next level by building and improving a data-driven full-funnel marketing strategy that drives awareness and revenue growth
  • Drive creation, development and implementation of differentiated creative expression through breakthrough content and fully coordinated campaigns
  • Develop deep understanding of the Cookie Run IP and its consumer's mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors to inform strong brand strategy and creative development
  • Mentor, develop and leverage the core strengths of the marketing team members and leads
  • Build strong partnerships and establish credibility with the internal cross-functional team, based upon a demonstrated collaborative approach, leadership skills and experience

    • Passionate about gaming, mobile apps and games, anime and social media
    • Located in the San Francisco Bay Area; our office is located in San Mateo, CA.
    • Willing to wear many hats - we're a startup within a larger company
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Proactive, takes initiative and has strong work ethic
    • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
    • Ability to function independently or as part of a team
    • Team player with a strong sense of priorities and organizational skills
    • 10+ year of experience in brand strategy, advertising and creative development, supporting all marketing channels, including digital and broadcast media, web, lifecycle marketing and social media
    • A data-driven leader with demonstrated success in entrepreneurial environments
    • Accomplished track record of building and scaling disruptive and innovative consumer brands through traditional and digital marketing strategies
    • Extensive experience in gaming, media and entertainment and/or consumer technology
    • Experience building and managing teams of 8+ members and willingness to be managed upwards while providing a clear vision and guidance
    • Experience analyzing performance data and making data-driven decisions
    • Experience leading both in-house creative teams and external agencies
    • Understanding of Gen Z and willingness to unlearn existing marketing rules and practices in favor of ever-evolving culture and trends
    • Passion for mobile gaming and player experience
    • M.B.A. strongly preferred
      Bonus
      • You are a hardcore gamer and have a great passion for video gaming
      • Fluency in Korean is a plus but not required
      • Previous experience in a startup
