Product Managers are the architects of CyberSource product offering and the primary drivers of product success and adoption by merchants, acquirers and technology partners.The Sr. Director, Product Management, Alternate Payments is responsible for owning, defining and executing/commercializing the roadmap for Alternate Payments at CyberSource. Key responsibilities include leading a product team, managing relationship/engagement with key strategic partners/clients and roadmap/capabilities to adequately support. The role requires deep client interaction, a consultative approach, close engagement with engineering, marketing, finance and client support teams with an innate ability to prioritize/make tradeoffs. - To be successful in the role, the candidate must be comfortable working with senior management at payment providers, aggregators, financial institutions, etc. and understanding the complexities, funds flow, roles and responsibilities for settlement, and respective regulatory requirements of each stakeholder for alternate payments. The role requires a global mindset and knowledge of local payment methods in various regions.RESPONSIBILITIESOwn the overall strategy and roadmap for alternative payments for both direct and reseller/partner channels - this role will influence/lead the strategic direction for alternate payments for Visa and CyberSourceOwn all engagement with key strategic partners, clients and cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate the alternate payments businessBalance requirements across partner, market and client asks and manage expectations accordinglyCollaborate with key internal functional teams to develop product requirements to support partner/client roadmaps. Ensure requirements were understood/implemented.Orchestrate joint roadmaps and product development with partner teams, write product/business requirements and follow through to successful launchesActively prioritize the product backlog and lead planning sessionsThe ideal candidate will have strong experience in both strategic thinking and execution, a roll up the sleeves mentality, influencing skills, deep expertise in local payment methods and experience leading teams.QualificationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS--- 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree, 10 years of work experience with Masters/MBA/JD/MD, or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhDPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS--- 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience--- 15+ years in product management, preferably in payments products--- Deep customer obsession and bias for making data-driven decisions--- Deep comfort in working with senior clients and/or partners and excellent presentation skills--- Exceptional business acumen and ability to develop and execute a multi-year product roadmap with multiple workstreams--- Deep knowledge of payments processing, local payments and regional nuances--- Deep knowledge of competitive solutions and ability to zero in on what matters--- Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment, manage customer and partner expectations and negotiate/influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels--- Ability to coordinate complex cross-functional teams including technical and non-technical resources--- Demonstrated ability to drive product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution--- Strong results-oriented leader, analytic and fact-based discipline--- Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities--- Ability to take ownership of complex, multi-faceted, open-ended problems and drive them to completion. Comfortable working with ambiguity.--- Able to work independently in a matrixed environment--- MBA or equivalent work experience preferredThis position is open to locations in London, UK and San Francisco, CA and Foster City, CA.Flex Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
