Role overview:
Sony Interactive Entertainment's Platform Experience Group (PEG) is a global organization that comprehensively delivers the hardware, product, and technology of the PlayStation ecosystem.
The Platform Experience Group is seeking a Director of Employee Experience and Enterprise Communications to deploy strategic planning and execution of organizational initiatives, ensuring the Platform Experience Group remains highly successful, innovative, cohesive, and the Best Place to Work. This person will be a member of the PEG Office Team with visibility to group strategy and operations, and will collaborate extensively with the senior leadership team, in addition to HR.
Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage global PEG employee experience strategy, collaborating with Sr Leadership, HR, local site leads, and others to enhance employee experience, foster employee engagement, and drive key cultural attributes
  • Plan and execute initiatives supporting the employee experience strategy, including engagement, culture, talent acquisition initiatives, and more
  • Develop and manage internal communications strategy to represent and shape group culture, effectively communicate strategic priorities, and provide clear messaging for a global audience (including communications to external stakeholders such as SIE leadership)
  • Identify and implement a breadth of methods for communicating with employees through a variety of channels. Craft internal presentations, messages, and other content as needed
  • Build annual calendars for employee experience and communications activities based on strategic priorities and business cadence
  • Develop and implement a measurement framework for benchmarking, tracking, and assessing effectiveness of employee experience initiatives and communications
  • Manage projects and lead working groups across a variety of applicable initiatives
  • Other tasks as identified

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years leadership experience with proven results within in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience driving culture and employee engagement in a global organization, with expertise of factors and components that drive both
    • Experience leading and driving successful global internal communications
    • Demonstrated ability to work at levels- strategic, operational, and tactical
    • Excellent communication and writing skills with ability to form stories and narrative, with attention to detail
    • Experience working with leaders at all levels of an organization, ability to create and foster business relationships with leaders and employees
    • Strong Project Management skills
    • High level of initiative and motivation to quickly resolve challenges
    • Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communications skills
    • Exceptional problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making skill
    • BA/BS; MBA, JD or post-graduate degree strongly preferred
