seeks a skilled Cloud Project Manager to lead project initiatives
forward from on-prem environments to Cloud environments or in
deploying SaaS services in vendor cloud for USPS.HOW A CLOUD
PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Support operationalizing deployments and support of Cloud
services
- Work with Software Engineering, Quality Engineering and
Operations teams to resolve technical or business impediments
affecting project delivery
- Help teams develop and drive a plan with well-defined
milestones
- Interface with all areas affected by the project, including
end-users and other internal/external groups to coordinate project
activities
- Help teams increase efficiency by identifying bottlenecks,
eliminating redundancy, and tailoring SDLC processes to fit their
needs
- Work closely with the channel and product partners
- Analyze existing business applications and Cloud platform
technical requirements to ensure that functional, technical, and
application migration changes adhere to global technical and Cloud
standards
- Coordinate with different technical teams responsible for
applications' migration between development, test, integration, and
production environments
- Manages change requests for cloud migration activities, and
tracks all events associated with those activities to maximize
systems availability and avoid errors
- Creating and maintaining detailed project plans for assigned
projects
- Develop and prepare appropriate metrics reports for operational
and project activities for internal management and control, and for
higher management information.
- Reporting status updates (including risks) to upper management
by organizing data to represent key measures of progress and
performance for presentation to multiple levels of the
organization
- Assist with developing and improving processes
- Creating templates for documentation of projects, reports,
onboarding, etc.
- Assist in improving control of production operations and
project activities
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology,
Project Management or directly related field
- Professional certification: PMP-ACP (preferred), Scaled Agile
SAFe 6.0 or Scaled Agile SAFe DevOps Required Experience:
- 10+ years of related professional work experience
- 5+ years of technology industry experience (primarily in Cloud
service delivery or project management)
- 3+ years Cloud project management experience, with large
enterprise IT projects (deployment, migration, with a value of $1
million or more)Required Skills and Abilities:
- Experienced with recognized project management methodologies
including financial reporting via PCTS, SLA's, work breakdown
structures, risk/issue management, resource loading, project
monitoring and controlling, and quality assurance
- Knowledge and skill in Azure, GCP, and SDLC/DevOps best
practices
- Ability to effectively interact with both technical and
non-technical customers
- Must possess strong MS Office skills (MS PowerPoint, Project,
Excel and Word)
- Strong ability to construct creative & professional PowerPoint
presentations and CIO Level communications
- Ability to maintain team SharePoint site with pertinent and
timely information regarding updates of Projects, the team
activities, etc.
- Ability to assist with documenting SOPs, technical evaluations,
and designs
- Strong technical writing and advanced knowledge of cloud
technologies - a plus Security Clearance Level:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- The security clearance for this program requires the selected
candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The
selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90
consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.Location:
- Onsite in San Mateo, CA with a hybrid work schedule (i.e., 3
days onsite and 2 days remote each week)

position is $118,400 - $177,600, this is not, however, a guarantee
of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on
experience, geographic location and possibly contractual
requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly
