Job Description:

MindPath Care Centers, a pioneer within Community Psychiatry, is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessments, diagnoses, and management of mental health conditions through both medication and therapy. Our aim is to enhance the wellbeing of our patients by focusing on personalized, evidence-based care in a supportive and collaborative outpatient setting. As a key member of our psychiatric team, you will play a vital role in fostering a holistic approach to mental health, tailored to the needs of each patient. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to diagnose and treat mental health disorders Develop individualized treatment plans that include both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions Monitor patient progress and make necessary treatment adjustments Provide crisis intervention as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment strategies Stay updated with the latest developments in psychiatry and mental health treatment Strong diagnostic abilities Expertise in pharmacology Effective interpersonal and communication skills Ability to create and manage individualized care plans Crisis management skills Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry Valid state medical license
