PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Walnut Creek, California, 94598! Job Title:

Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with at least 2 years in
specialty License: Active RN license in the relevant state

approach Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse
specializing in post-anesthesia care. The role involves working in
a busy pre-operative services unit. Candidates must be experienced
in various surgical and procedural diagnoses including orthopedic,
general, gynecological, spinal, urological, and vascular cases. The
age range of patients spans from 8 weeks to 100 years old.
Responsibilities include providing pre-operative calls, drawing
labs, and starting IVs. RNs will perform EKGs with the assistance
of unit secretaries. The unit is focused on optimizing patients for
their surgeries and procedures. Seeking fast-paced, autonomous RNs
who thrive in a collaborative environment. Candidates should be
prepared for a rotation schedule including weekends and call
shifts. Experience with pediatric patients is preferred, along with
familiarity with electronic medical record systems. The dress code
is professional scrubs with specific requirements regarding
