Mammography Tech Location: Palo Alto, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,148 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Job Title: Mammography Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: - CRT - ARRT in mammography preferred Description: This position requires willingness to work weekends, weekdays, and some evening shifts. Other possible shift times are 7 AM to 3 PM on weekends and variable between 7 AM to 5 PM on weekdays. Candidates are expected to perform various mammography procedures. Skills required include needle localizations, stereotactic biopsy, 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms. Experience with Hologic 3D equipment is preferred. Knowledge of isolation precautions, radiation safety, and universal precautions/core measures is essential. Candidates should comply with patient ratio experience requirements and have experience with the Epic charting system. Candidates will be required to adhere to a background policy. Documentation of a 7-year work history will be necessary. All certifications must be in hand at the time of application. Two professional references obtained within the last year are required. Travel candidates must be aware of specific travel compliance and requirements. Candidates should be prepared to complete modules as part of their orientation.
