Job DescriptionAramark Healthcare+ is currently seeking a Hospital Food Services Retail Manager to join their team at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. The Hospital Food Services Retail Manager will oversee the day-to-day retail operations across campus cafe operations. Reporting to the General Manager, the Hospital Food Services Manager will plan, administer, and direct all unit activities related to multiple site retail and catering functions.Responsibilities include client financial accountability and compliance with standards established by ARAMARK, regulatory agencies, and the client. The manager collaborates with the General Manager regarding department goals, objectives, and performance, and leads the department in his/her absence. They establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.CompensationThe salary range for this position is from $90,000 to $100,000, depending on skills, qualifications, degrees, certifications, prior experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions. This estimate reflects Aramark's good faith as of the posting date.Hired employees will be in an "at-will position," and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary and other compensation at any time for any reason, including performance and market factors.Job Responsibilities

• Deliver strong operational performance by adhering to regulatory standards, monitoring operations, and ensuring food quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain effective client and customer relations, including conducting rounding.
• Identify service expansion opportunities.
• Manage performance and development of Supervisors and front-line employees, ensuring engagement and compliance with HR policies.
• Develop operational forecasts and explain variances; responsible for accounting functions.

  • 2-4 years of progressive hospital retail management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; Associate's Degree required.
  • Experience managing multiple sales points and retail sites.
  • Experience with high-volume environments, managing $5+M in volume, and relevant industry backgrounds.
  • Strong financial acumen with successful P&L management experience.
  • Experience managing salaried staff and developing careers.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Attention to quality standards and quality control procedures.
  • Proficiency in writing reports and using mathematical concepts.
