Position SummaryThe ideal candidate will be an integral part of shaping and building HR programs and processes to allow the Company to scale significantly. The general responsibilities of this role will be planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices and measuring their success. The Company will go through significant growth over the next six to 12 months and beyond and the Sr. HR Manager will be an integral part in shaping the policies and programs that the Company will build on. You should have worked in a rapid growth, preferably startup to growth company to be successful in this role as the daily requirements of the HR team are rapidly changing to meet the business needs.. The position will be based in our San Mateo Headquarters and will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing core HR programs (e.g. benefit plans, compensation, performance management, compensation planning, promotions, talent reviews, job descriptions, career development, etc.).
  • Providing recommendations to guide decision making related to compensation, organizational structure, attrition, promotions, and other activities.
  • Experience with Information Systems (HRIS), such as Salary.com, Workday, PeopleSoft, ADP, Paycom.
  • Data and analytics will be a heavy part of this function to identify what the data is telling us and make recommendations for programs and processes for continuous alignment and improvements.
  • Driving people initiatives with strong communication skills, coaching, influencing, and offering thought-leadership regarding organizational/people-related strategies and organizational design.
  • Delivering an employee experience that supports the culture and values of the company.
  • Ensuring timely support and issue resolution to business partners in employee relations, employee coaching, benefit and payroll.
  • Responsible for the onboarding employees and employee engagement.
  • Develop and recommend performance management and alignment to compensation strategies.
  • Ensure and deliver programs to align with government compliance and regulations.
  • Work with the Director of Recruiting to standardized job descriptions and wage classifications.
  • Oversee completion and compliance for all benefit program audits.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey thoughts and ideas clearly. Build comprehensive presentations and deliver training where needed.
  • All other responsibilities as required.
    Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related discipline preferred.
    • 5-7 years proven, progressive HR Management experience.
    • PHR or SPHR-CP certification preferred.
    • Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations and compliance issues in HR and hiring.
    • Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems or similar systems.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to work well in a fast paced growth environment
