The Role
This is an awesome opportunity to join a rapidly growing start-up while continuing to grow your career in talent. Responsibilities will run the gamut of the employee lifecycle including, but not limited to, recruitment, employee onboarding and engagement, and employee benefits design.
Responsibilities


  • You will develop and administer various aspects of the employee lifecycle (including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes), with a focus on employee experience and compliance, in partnership with cross functional teams.
  • You will be the first point of contact for employee questions and requests including benefits escalating as appropriate.
  • You will own systems administration and maintenance (Gusto, Greenhouse) and continue to evaluate systems in our HR tech stack as we scale.
  • You will develop and manage all policies, HR compliance and the employee handbook.
  • You will act as a Talent Advisor, manage the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle from conducting recruiting strategy meetings to crafting requisitions to development and execution of the sourcing strategy, to facilitating the candidate selection process to closing and pre-boarding. -
  • You will focus on continuous improvement opportunities that benefit our candidate and employee experience while aligning to our values
  • You will source qualified candidates and continue to build pipeline with growth in mind

      Other Experience and Qualifications:

      • 5+ years of experience working within a blend of recruitment and people operations with a strong interest in both functions and learning and developing across the people function. -
      • Experience building high quality and diverse candidate pipelines for full recruitment cycles, using creative sourcing techniques when necessary
      • Ability to and a proven track record of building strong, collaborative stakeholder and candidate relationships
      • You operate with a growth mindset
      • Strong ability to prioritize and re-prioritize -
      • Excellent communication skills! You're able to provide stakeholders with timely and concise information; you know that multiple mediums of communication are the key to success. -
      • Ability to work hybrid, our office is located in San Mateo, CA
      • High degree of integrity and are able to maintain confidentiality at all times

        The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated pay range for this role is $120-160,000. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Zero Acre Farms benefits and equity programs.
