Will support analytical capability using internal data assets
and external data sources to deliver a strategy aligned to
business goals. Will serve as the point person for establishing
KPIs to measure results and reporting out findings for
the Testing and Yield Optimization team. Will perform ad-hoc
strategic analytics in support of Marketing strategy,
business planning and executive reviews. Will lead all aspects
of Marketing Analytics, including campaign analysis,
predictive modeling, and database management. Will develop
business requirements for new automated marketing
reports and maintain existing reports. Will provide on-going
tracking of strategic and operational performance metrics
to measure return on investments and turn data into true
intelligence to drive competitive advantage for Esurance.
Will lead effort within the Marketing organization to conduct
ad-hoc analyses in support of executive requests,
strategy or business inspection. Will work cross-functionally to
articulate the problem statement and an approach to
answer the question. Will provide clear and succinct charts and
presentations to communicate findings, insights and
recommendations. Will present findings at key Marketing meetings
and executive reviews. Will lead Testing & Yield
Optimization Team to help manage quarterly roadmaps, set KPIs
and lead efforts to provide and consolidate
measurement/reporting. Will manage efforts for measurement and
reporting, coordinate cross-functional input,
identify timelines and deliverables, and communicate status and
issues. Will provide analytics summary for each
campaign, and input for monthly extended governance meetings and
quarterly executive reviews. Will drive
continuous improvement of planning, setting KPIs and measurement
methodologies to drive more relevant and
accurate tests. Will develop seamless understanding of the
variables being tested for the cross-functional teams
(Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience) and provide insight on
how to build informed test methodologies and
performance read-outs. Will provide analytical support and
insights to email acquisition and remarketing teams in
order to improve efficiency and targeting. Will develop
dashboarding tools in order to provide more timely and a
accurate reporting of KPIs.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in statistics, economics, communications, or a
related field (willing to accept foreign education
equivalent) plus 3 years of marketing analytics experience.
One year of experience must include:
1. Utilizing SQL programming and predictive modeling skills
utilizing R, Splus, SAS, or SPSS.
2. Utilizing relational databases including T-SQL or PL-SQL to
design tableau dashboards to identify trends in compl
complex data sets.
3. Streamlining reporting processing, including the development
of new metrics and time efficient analytical tools.
4. Manipulating data in Oracle SQL to create dashboards and
database objects utilizing Tableau.
