  • Works with more senior programmers to learn validation programming and code inspection
  • Works with more senior programmers to develop SDTM programming following SDTM mapping specification
  • Develops proficiency in SAS
  • Participates in validation of clinical trial data
  • Programs Table Figure Listings
  • (TFLs) and ad hoc reportsKnowledge, Experience & Skills:
    • Provides support for basic programming tasks and performs modifications to existing programs, under close supervision
    • Uses internal analysis macros to automate study deliverables
    • Adheres to all GSI Policies, SOPs and other controlled documents
    • Provides inputs to and participates in Programming and Clinical Data Science meetings
    • Works as a secondary programmer for Phase 1-4 studies
    • May contribute to the continuous improvement of Programming Environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are required
    • Knowledge of computer programming, SAS, or other procedural languagesEducation and Experience:
      • Typically requires a BS degree in Biostatistics/Computer Science or equivalent and 2 years of industrial experience
