Location: Foster City, CA Position Type: Full Time Experience: See below Education: Bachelors degree or forgn equiv Senior Software Engineer - Robot Motion & Control w/Zoox Inc. (Foster City, CA). Lead a team of software engineers that build motion planning & decision-making systems for the self-driving vehicles, ensuring that the behavior of our vehicles is safe, smooth, & predictable to other road users. Bachelor's degree or forgn equiv in Comp Engg, Mechatronic Engg, Robotics or a closely related field. Req 2 yrs of exp in a software engg position developing algorithms for autonomous vehicle trajectory generation & tracking. Must have exp: testing, analyzing, & validating developed autonomous motion technologies; supporting visualization & evaluation of tools to debug the trajectory generation & motion planning algorithm; monitoring microservices across the platform; writing robust & scalable autonomous vehicle code; & using C++, Python, & HMI user interfaces. 5%-Domestic travel to unanticipated locations. $173,000-$218,000/yr.
