practical experience. 2 years of experience with coding in C++, or
1 year of experience with an advanced degree. 2 years of experience
with Linux. 1 year of experience with networking protocols.
Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer
Science, or a related technical field. 2 years of experience with
user space networking. 2 years of experience with software-defined
networking. 2 years of experience with performance optimization.

salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$211,000 bonus

of networking features implemented in the User Space Protocol Stack
(USPS) and network system daemons. Provide the host networking
data-path as part of the solution for many cross-functional team
projects. Engage with client teams, design host networking features
to solve their problems, and have outsized impact. Prioritize
reliability, efficiency, and performance; they are very important
to our team. Work on projects that have a broad impact on
Google.
