This is a remote, Exempt – Full Time position based in our San Mateo, CA office. This position reports to the Director of Product of the Company.

Movoto Real Estate is a well-funded real estate tech startup used by 350,000 buyers and sellers daily. As we scale for rapid growth, we are looking for an SEO Product Manager to strategize and launch a new and successful real estate portal.

What we’re looking for in you:

As an SEO Product Manager at Movoto, you will be a key player in helping us impact thousands of consumer home shoppers and real estate agents. Using rapid iteration, and A/B testing protocols, you will work closely within a collaborative and cross-functional team environment to create digital experiences for some of the largest real estate brands in the United States.

What you’ll be doing:

Plan, develop and implement our SEO strategy to achieve ROI maximization.

Develop a growth & acquisition strategy centered on our unique data.

Create best practices guide for link building and platforms from high domain authority partner and media sites

Work on localization for assigned countries: Track keywords, manage global glossary for translated sites.

Collaborate with marketing on blog content creation focused on aligning to high volume keywords. Ensure that all content is consistent with branding and writing guidelines.

Identify opportunities to enhance SEO results by monitoring site metrics and external factors. Translate deep data analysis into innovative solutions for customers.

Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers to Identify problems and deficiency and implement solutions in a timely manner.

What you should have:

Proven SEO experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs with large web sites (> 10 million visitors per month or > 1 million indexable pages).

In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends) and SEO tools (e.g. Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, SEMrush, Moz, Conductor, Google’s Keyword Tool).

Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.

Up-to-date with working knowledge of current, past, projected trends and best practices in the SEO industry.

Solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO.

The ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy.

The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills.

Proven success in link building and viral strategies.

Proficient in analyzing and troubleshooting SEO related issues.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and do SEO deep dives to solve SEO related issues.
