Clinical Trials Management (CTM) ensures effective design, implementation and management of global clinical trials covering all of Gilead's Therapeutic Areas (TAs) from Phase I-IV. The CTM teams work with our many internal and external partners to ensure our studies are carried out following all regulatory guidelines, protect the safety of Gilead's patients and generate high quality data in a cost-effective manner. The groups direct every step of the clinical study management process from initial protocol development and study startup through management and closeout activities, providing oversight and project management throughout the process.Late Phase is part of Clinical Operations and provides functional support, overseeing operational implementation and execution of Investigator-sponsored and Collaborative studies across all TAs which aim to maximize impact of Gilead products around the world. These studies vary from Phase 2-4. The team also manages Gilead sponsored non-interventional studies and compassionate use requests across all TAs.The PositionClinical Project Assistants provide administrative support and assistance to the Clinical Operations function. They may assist the Clinical Operations Late Phase (LP) team with study management activities (such as preparation of study reports, QC activities, meeting planning, etc.) and slide preparations for the LP Therapeutic Lead Liaisons. They will prepare and deliver a presentation based on an agreed upon project topic at the end of the internship.Job Responsibilities may include the following tasks: The position entails work under general supervision for routine tasks and with detailed instructions on new assignments. Tracking and preparing study-specific information utilizing databases, spreadsheets, and other tools. Under close supervision reviews and participates in the quality assurance of data or documents Arranges meeting logistics, agendas, and responsible for producing minutes for designated studies and meetings. Interacts with other departments as directed to complete assigned tasks.
