Job Description:

The San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking a School Community Worker for Highlands Elementary School (Spanish speaker preferred). 2.5 hrs/day (flexible schedule) 10 paid sick days 14 paid holidays Definition for School Community Worker: Under general supervision, to identify at-risk students with attendance, illness, emotional/social, needs and problems; to develop working relationships with students, parents, community groups and social service agencies, to assist in resolving attendance and other problems that interfere with school success; to discuss school programs, attendance requirement, behavior problems, and available services with parents; and to perform related work as required.
