Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Business Analyst in
San Mateo, CA to partner with colleagues across the organization to
identify and deliver integrated solutions that center over the
company's overall objectives. Requires a Master's degree in
Marketing Analytics, Business Operations Research, or related field
or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience providing integrated
marketing analytical solutions to improve client decision-making.
Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience
leveraging advanced mathematical methods (regression analysis,
hypothesis testing, and incrementality testing) to make
recommendations; generating reports and applying statistical
analysis to provide insights on advertising campaign performance
and optimization; conducting primary and secondary research on best
practices and market trends; analyzing quantitative and qualitative
data to understand industry benchmarks for KPIs, leveraging data
from Google Trends and Adobe Analytics; synthesizing
recommendations using SQL, Python, ETL tools embedded in BI
Platforms, and Excel VBA macros to map and join data from different
platforms; visualizing data into charts and graphs through DOMO and
Tableau to interpret data into insights and stories; preparing
analysis and tracking of marketplace, technology and consumer
demographic trends within and across industries; owning acceptance
criteria for data and reporting to ensure the criteria meets team
requirements; performing data-recaps and writing recommendation
reports for future business initiatives; developing and maintaining
reporting infrastructure utilizing DOMO, Tableau, and Datorama; and
utilizing SQL to query and extract valuable data sets for analysis.
