IDC's Emerging Vendor Sales Team is looking for an Sr. Account
Executive on the West Coast who will focus on selling IDC's
research products to Emerging Technology Vendors. Why IDC? -IDC is

started! This role is ideally located in IDC's San Mateo, CA
office, but qualified candidates on the West Coast will be
considered. Responsibilities
- Work with C-level executives to align IDC's value with client
strategy
- Account management with outcome of increased customer
satisfaction and increase in renewal/retention & account
growth
- Proficiency in account planning and territory management
- Accurate daily activity reporting, and monthly/quarterly/annual
forecasting
- Learn IDC products and services, that align with your
territory, accounts, and competitors
- Help clients get the most value out of their market research
investment and will focus on renewing contracts, business
retention, and account growth
- Prospecting new clients and adding up to 10 new clients per
sales year Qualifications
- 5+ years of quota carrying technical sales experience, along
with strong written, analytical, and verbal communication
skills
- Experience selling Enterprise software or services
preferred
- Strong telephone cold calling experience
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience
developing existing accounts and developing high level
relationships
- Additionally, this person will be entrepreneurial, motivated,
assertive, and collaborative, as well as be a self-starter and a
quick-thinker
- This position requires strong time management and organization
skills
- Prior market research industry sales experience is helpful, but
