This role works closely with our doctors in hands-on patient care.Job Duties include (but are not limited to):Greeting and welcoming incoming patientsPerforming examination pre-testing and medical history for each patient appointmentMaintaining/cleaning/scheduling repairs of ophthalmic equipment/machinesExam room maintenance (cleaning, organizing, restocking)Taking regular inventory of ophthalmic supplies, placing orders as needed, and keeping all exam and testing rooms stocked with necessary supplies.Assisting with administrative duties as needed: appointment scheduling, faxing/calling in medication prescriptions for the optometrist to the pharmacy, filling records requests, preparing and sending referrals for patient care, and more.Training contact lens patients who are first-time wearers on proper insertion and removal of contactsWe offer a competitive benefits package including:Health insurance benefits401KPTO accrualPaid holidaysEyewear and eyecare benefitsWe are looking to train the right charismatic individual for this role, so experience is preferred but not necessary.
