And to do that we are looking for the right individual that will lead Snowflake on this front as the Head of Design. - RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and grow a world-class product design team including user research, visual design, content design, user experience, operations, design systems.
• Continue to build and increase Snowflake's culture and focus on design and innovation.
• Drive vision for Snowflake's product experiences.
• Define processes and operations to drive smooth execution for the design team.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product and other functions leadership on roadmap and execution.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • 12+ years of experience hiring, building, scaling and managing product design teams in high growth companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, lead, and develop product designers, visual designers, content designers, and researchers.
  • Experience defining, scaling and leading the entire design process across designers, managers and other functions.
  • Demonstrable understanding and pulse on design trends and delivery of world-class experiences. -
  • Demonstrable experience leveraging data to inform design choices and decisions.
  • Experience developing and executing on a multi-year vision and strategic plans.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Senior Director or VP level of seniority. The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
    • The estimated pay range for this role is $248,000 - $414,000.
    • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
