We also have preschools co-located at our six elementary sites. We have various theme based schools: Montessori, Immersion (Spanish and Mandarin), and STEM.

Job Summary

San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for substitute Para Educator I-Preschool (teachers assistants) for our Mandarin program.

**Proficient in Mandarin speaking and writing (traditional characters)

This is an "on call" position at Turnbull Child Development Center-Mandarin Preschool

Definition:
Under general supervision, to assist teacher in planning, supervision, curriculum development and classroom arrangement, organization and maintenance; to provide instructional support and learning enrichment, using developmentally appropriate practices and materials to monitor child safety, perform housekeeping functions, and assist in the physical care and feeding of children; and to perform related work as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

CPR and First Aid required.
**District reading, math & writing test required; unless waived based on prior education and/or experience
