The Lead Anaplan Architect will be an integral part of the FP&A team by playing a vital role in building and supporting Anaplan financial models that inform business strategy, steer operational performance, and act as the backbone of the FP&A team's reporting cadence. In this newly created role, the Anaplan Architect will be responsible for establishing system governance, supporting model builders in reviewing designs, model architecture, deployment and management of modules, and taking end-to-end ownership of new turnkey models to support scaling business needs.Job Responsibilities:Manage the operations and maintenance of workspaces and models in Anaplan, while implementing new business functionality to build scalable processesPartner with the Business Applications IT team as the FP&A business lead for new and existing integration feeds from various business systems into Anaplan -Be the subject matter expert on Coupa's Anaplan platform by guiding model builders to leverage established best practices, and build, test, and deploy models in a scalable and effective mannerPartner with Finance, Operations, and other strategic business teams to understand departmental needs, prioritize and translate requests into functioning Anaplan models -Embrace the Coupa FP&A mantra of building for scale for 80/20 use-cases and taking the best long-term routeRequirements:Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Information Systems3+ years of work experience in Business Applications, Finance, or roles involved with enterprise software implementations, and have at least 1 year of that experience building models in Anaplan -High level of integrity and ability to navigate gray areas to arrive at appropriate business / customer-focused conclusionsStrong analytical skills, a deep interest in problem-solving and leveraging technology to improve business processesExcellent organizational skills with a bias for action and the ability to multitask projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight timelines, while delivering high-quality resultsPreferred Qualifications:Certified in Anaplan with completing both Level 1 & Level 2 training, while preferably achieving Master Anaplanner statusIntersection of FP&A and Business Applications with Operations experienceExperience with Software/SaaS companies would be a plusBasic understanding of FP&A processes, and financial concepts with exposure to financial modelingProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite and Coupa is preferred#LI-RemoteAt Coupa, we have a strong and innovative team dedicated to improving the spend management processes of today's dynamic businesses.
