Job Description:

The Business Analyst II will collaborate with Development Business Operations, Clinical Studies, Development FP&A, and KDSO PM's in the management and execution of standard processes and projects that pertain to the oversight of instruments that monitor and are utilized within the process of study cost and planning. (I.E. Work Orders, PO's, invoices)

" Requires strong attention to detail, a high level of organization, and experience and aptitude to understand and utilize systems containing fiscal data and/or documentation (contracts, invoice, PO's).
" Demonstrates moderate proficiency in the use of complex budgeting & forecasting database tools.
" Ability to work independently with business partners in resolving problems pertaining to fiscal responsibility matters, escalating as needed.
" Ability to manage and lead projects cross-functionally from inception to completion. Exercise knowledge in strategizing for the most effective methods, approaches, and level of communication and engagement.
" Provide contract and payment administration support to include the following: Invoice Coordination, Invoice review, expense type coding, and Purchase Order inquiries.
" Review and develop workflow and work process standards to ensure that clinical payment activities are in compliance with the regulatory and company requirements. Participates in establishing departmental and cross-functional policies and procedures.
" Payment reconciliation including the ability to research and review payment data and determine payment status, determine if over or under payment has occurred. Requires in-depth and often complex investigation of payment discrepancies and thorough, yet efficient communication.
" Works on diverse business problems that require financial analysis with oversight from more senior individuals in department. Assists clinical teams in resolving financial issues as they relate to either site contracts, vendor contracts, work order and/or PO mitigation, or invoice mitigation.
