Solution Sales Executive - Enterprise Application Software

We are seeking a consultative problem-solver to drive Service Line Sales within our Communications, Media & Technology practice (CMT). This individual would have deep expertise in Salesforce Cloud solutions and experience driving revenue growth in this space working with Fortune500 organizations.

You should have some consulting experience, market leadership, relationship management, sales quota attainment, and excellence in achieving both annual revenue and profitability targets.

You will manage a portfolio of accounts for revenue growth, new business identification and conversion, establish and lead relationship with client stakeholders, and run financial and demand forecasts for your portfolio. You will partner with our Oracle sales seams to identify opportunities for revenue and total contract value growth as part of the overall digital solutions service offerings group.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Deliver sales results and supply to revenue growth for Communications, Media & Technology industries
  • Grow pipeline through existing accounts and if appropriate, new logo accounts
  • Bring a 'hunting' mindset to all market and sales opportunities - shape and share value propositions
  • Promote solution sales models and longer value-based contracts
  • Cultivate and share a relevant industry or technology point of view (POV) with clients and peers to increase Cognizant's value to our clients
  • Bring cultural awareness and interpersonal savvy to navigate complex client stakeholder environments
  • Work to close deals using sales best practices such as client call plans, win strategies, close plans and Cognizant sales tools and methodologies such as the 'Deal Health Checklist'
  • Cultivate client relationships to foster further growth and cross selling opportunities at CxO levels
  • Be knowledgeable on the industry offerings, products, credentials and case studies
  • Actively participate and collaborate in the Digital sales teams and with the account/client teams
  • Where relevant, build and maintain productive mutual working relationships with alliance partners
  • Create, drive and deliver sales forecasts for deals that meet or exceed budgets in visible and predictable manner using the Cognizant's SFDC CRM tool
  • Ensure CRM system is regularly updated at least weekly with all details on sales activities
  • Participate as required in regular sales pipeline and review cadences
  • Give constructively and creatively into the client account planning and pipeline generation activities led by Cognizant industries and business units
  • Provide proposal development directly or in collaboration with bid management and solution architect teams
  • Identify early renewal opportunities that can be maximized into transformation client conversations
  • Collaborate and engage with industry sales and partner alliance teams for joint account planning, new and account expansion opportunities
    Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
    • 3+ years + experience in IT services and sales in large enterprise organizations
    • Proven track record of sales experience and success delivering to and exceeding sales quotas
    • Experience developing opportunity pipelines, qualifying high priority deals, and winning new business with agreed targets
    • Experience closing sales with a specific emphasis on growing sales. Specifically, winning new deals in customer accounts in line with pipeline planning and pre-agreed targets.
    • Recent experience working for IT professional services or management consulting firm(s)
    • Deep experience in one or more of the DB&T service line practices and business groups
    • Excellent problem solving, business communication (written & oral) skills
    • Well organized and experience with being responsive to client needs
    • Mature client engagement and management skills - ability to build client relationships; strengthening partnerships by focusing on exceptional client experience, risk management and value realization built on the foundation of Cognizant leadership capabilities
    • Extensive experience with multiple Salesforce Clouds such as Sales, Marketing, Service, Commerce, Revenue Cloud, CPQ solutions.
      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Knowledge on multiple EAS application - SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, Etc is a plus
      • Knowledge in data modernization, Cloud, data migration and digital transformation
      • MBA or Master's degree from a top-ranked institution

        Salary and Other Compensation :

        The annual salary for this position is between $123,236.00 - $171,175.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

        This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
