Job Description:
C3 AI (NYSE: AI), is the Enterprise AI application software

AI applications, a portfolio of industry-specific SaaS enterprise

organizations globally, and C3 Generative AI, a suite of
domain-specific generative AI offerings for the enterprise. We are
seeking a Senior Director, Strategy to lead the creation of
high-quality proposals and RFP responses, define the value
proposition in complex deals, and build clear economic models that
demonstrate customer impact. This role directly supports our most
important commercial opportunities and shapes how we position our
solutions in the market. You will work closely with Sales, Product,
Services, and Executive leadership to ensure every major pursuit is
backed by strong analysis, clear messaging, and a well-structured
commercial case. Responsibilities : • Proposal Development: Lead
the creation of compelling proposals and RFP responses,
collaborating with internal (Sales, Products, Services, Legal,
Executives) and external stakeholders (customers, partners) - using
best of breed agentic tools enhanced by the collective knowledge of
the organization • Deal Desk Development: Establish measurement of
and continuously improve deal desk velocity for proposals, pricing
requests, approvals, and other commercial requests - adeptly
deploying agentic tools, CRM integration, and continuous
measurement • Pricing and Packaging: Lead the creation of C3 AI’s
product pricing and packaging schedules, including competitive
analysis and benchmarking, working with Products, Sales, and C3
AI’s executives. • Sales & Product Support: Develop materials for
sales presentations, demos, and negotiations, ensuring clear
communication of commercial and technical details. • Executive
Engagement: Identify and formulate AI/ML use cases, craft business
cases, and articulate the value proposition for potential customers
in early sales cycles. • Market Research & Strategy: Analyze
industry trends, competitor strategies, and market opportunities,
synthesizing insights to inform company, product, and go-to-market
strategies. • Operational Support: Contribute to business
development efforts, structure partnership strategies, and analyze
internal KPIs for strategic planning and forecasting. • Team
Environment and Growth: Support the Strategy team’s development by
focusing on team morale, recruiting and mentorship of team members,
and enhancing processes. Qualifications : • Bachelor’s degree
(required); MBA from a top-tier school (preferred). • 15 years of
experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate
strategy, or related fields. • Strong analytical skills with proven
experience in developing strategic plans and metrics. • Exceptional
written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of
producing executive-ready strategy documents. • Ability to manage
multiple workstreams and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
and executive stakeholders. • Interest in Enterprise AI and
experience in one or more of the following industries: Energy,
Industrial Manufacturing, Financial Services, Telecommunications,
Healthcare. • Experience with AI/ML and agentic systems. •
Experience with cloud / software and solutions pricing
methodologies and approaches
